Roasted Cabbage Steaks with Bacon
serves 4
Ingredients
- 1 ea cabbage, sliced into steaks 1-inch thick
- 4 T olive oil
- 3 cl garlic
- 1 t dried marjoram
- 4 sl bacon, well-cooked and crumbled
- blue cheese
- 3 ea scallion, chopped
Instructions
- Whisk together the olive oil, garlic and marjoram. Baste both sides of each cabbage steak, then sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Roast for 15 minutes at 450, turn and roast an additional 10-15 minutes or until done.
- Plate, garnish with bacon, blue cheese, and scallion, and serve.
